Don’t talk about what’s missing in your life, put your attention on what you intend to create.
We spend so much time thinking and talking about what we don't want, rather than what we do want, and often when we do get around to talking about what we actually want, it's from a place of lack - I want a new job because I hate my old one, I need to lose weight because I feel really unattractive.
It's not that you can never think those things - negative thoughts are bound to happen and trying to turn them off entirely will make you crazy or make you feel like a failure whenever they inevitably creep back in - but it's important when you think those thoughts of lack or negative feels to say 'Thank you for the feedback' and turn the negative thought in to opposite positive intention.
I want a new job because I hate my old one becomes 'I'm going to create a new career that allows me to help as many people as possible with my unique gifts'.
I want to lose weight because I feel really unattractive becomes 'I'm going to fuel my body in a way that allows to me project on the outside the joy and strength that I feel on the inside"
