Being grateful for what we have is such a powerful tool. It keeps us in an uplifted state and makes room for more good to come our way. However, being grateful in advance is like gratitude on steroids. Feeling genuinely grateful for something that hasn't happened or come to you yet is like choosing expedited delivery on your order. It sounds easy, but we're talking about intense, genuine, heartfelt gratitude on things you don't actually have yet. This can feel like pretend or like your deluding yourself - not the intention you want to radiate.
A good way of describing how to do this is when you order something online, you're not shocked when you actually receive your delivery - you expected it - that's why you placed the order in the first place. So too it should be with your order to the universe! Decide what you want, press send in your mind and then know that the order has been placed and the Universe is getting your item/event ready for delivery. Then all you have to do is feel grateful and excited for what you've ordered - like when you've found something at an amazing discount - you feel amazing at having gotten a great bargain and you can't wait until it's delivered so you can start enjoying it! Buzz with excitement about what you've ordered until it's finally delivered! You'll be amazed what can happen!
